Certified Wildlife Biologist, Patrick Schirf

Patrick Schirf is a Utah native by way of Park City. A life raised in the mountains fostered his deep fascination with the natural world. After obtaining a Zoology degree from Western Washington University, he spent 7 years working as a wildlife biologist on multiple field studies throughout the Western U.S. and Alberta, Canada. With a focus in predator-prey dynamics, Patrick honed his track and sign skills investigating kill sites and developing an understanding of how North America’s charismatic creatures such as wolves and mountain lions move about the landscape. After years spent living in the woods, Patrick has found himself back in Utah teaching those in his community the basics of connecting deeper to nature.
