There’s no better way to explore the beauty of our mountains and canyons than on the back of a horse. The whole family will enjoy visiting our stables to meet, feed and groom our gentle horses. After getting to know our hoofed friends, choose from a range of equine adventures, most of which can be tailored for riders ages eight years and older.
Unleash your family’s creative spirit with an inspiring outdoor art session, or by creating a one-of-a-kind souvenir to bring home. Take a guided family hike to a gorgeous mountaintop setting to paint inspiring vistas, or enjoy a drawing session on the remote valley floor surrounded by colorful wildflowers. For the ultimate memento, your family can distress and stain a custom trail sign or create a unique antler shed masterpiece to hang at home.
Your kids will love staying up past their bedtime to enjoy the magic of this once-a-month lunar event. During each full moon of the year, families will have the opportunity to go on an extraordinary night-time adventure to explore the Ranch, mountain, and streams guided only by moonlight. Full moon adventures will include hiking, mountain biking, skiing, fishing, snowshoeing, Nordic skiing, igloo building, rafting, horseback riding, and much more.
Revel in nature’s awe-inspiring beauty together with a family hike to remote mountain vistas. Blue Sky’s extensive trail system offers hikes suitable for even our youngest guests. Simply savor the incredible views, or turn your family trek into an educational adventure. Self-guided family hikes are an opportunity for kids to master the use of maps, traditional compasses and GPS devices, while on guided hikes, they can learn about the fascinating local flora and fauna of the region.
Surrender your digital devices and recenter together with a family yoga session. Blue Sky provides ample opportunities for your family to root down and rise up in our epic landscape. Our yoga program can be tailored for every experience level and are suitable for even our youngest guests. Enjoy a forest hike to practice yoga surrounded by panoramic mountain views to yoga in silks hung from old-growth trees.
Reap the rewards of a day on the farm, as a family or as part of the Little Vaquero's Club. Families can live a day in the life of a farmer. Activities follow the seasonal planting and harvest of vegetables in the greenhouse and in the fields. Follow up by feeding chickens and collecting eggs, before a team lunch with farm staff. Take your newfound skills back home to foster your own green thumbs.

Play Me and Lucky
Every year we take a family summer vacation to explore somewhere new. I was beyond excited when mom told me we were headed to Utah to ride horses and play with farm animals.
