You will be guided through seven lesser-known libations from various regions across Mexico, each paired with an unexpected yet craftily curated bite by our culinary team. Allow your senses to guide you through the North, East, South, and West of the country, all while seated beachside at Etéreo’s relaxing and contemporary Itzam bar as the sun sets before you.

Taste Elevated Espíritus
Kick off this epicurean journey with a taste of Bacanora, a bold, agave-based spirit born and exclusively produced in the Sonora region. Bacanora is the moonshine of Mexico, and has a smooth, yet complex flavor that is smokier than tequila.
Acquaint yourself with Charanda, a Mexican Rum from the state of Michoacan. Made from sugar cane grown at a high-altitude, this sugary spirit has a history dating back to the 16th century and is steeped in Mexican tradition.
The tasting also includes Sotol, a distillate made from a type of shrub called desert spoon which resembles a sea urchin, and Raicilla, tequila’s more obscure yet powerfully flavored “older brother”. Experience these yourself and try out all seven spirits as part of this wholly unique Mexican experience, exclusive to Etéreo.
