Chef Oscar will join forces with Susurros’ Executive Chef Tonatiuh Cuevas for a Los Sabores signature: the four-hands dinner at Casamilpa. Gather at our oceanfront restaurant for a memorable tasting menu infusing the spirit of Animalón with Susurros, complete with wine pairings from Vinos Boutique.

About Chef Oscar Torres of Animalón

A Los Angeles native, Oscar Torres began his culinary career early- joining the family business, Mexican restaurant “Mariscos El Chino”, as a child. His formal culinary education also started young, as he committed to his high school’s culinary program. Here he was able to enter into culinary competitions, allowing him to showcase his natural talent. After completing his college education, he returned to his hometown Los Angeles, to join Michelin star restaurant “Ortolan”, where he worked under French Chef Christophe Eme’s leadership. Chef Oscar Torres is now at the helm of Javier Plascencia’s Animalon restaurant in Valle de Guadalupe. He has held the position of Executive Chef for 4 years and counting. Thanks to his expertise, passion, determination and innate talent he has established Animalon as one of the best restaurants in Mexico and ranked at #53 in Latin America’s 50 Best restaurants list in 2023. He was just awarded Chef Promesa del Año 2023 by MexBest awards by Quien and is amongst the 10 best new chefs by Food & Wine Mexico Magazine, summer 2023 edition.

About Chef Oscar Torres of Animalón
