Gather for Susurros’ first-ever tasting room experience in partnership with luxury sipping tequila Casa Del Sol for a multi-faceted experience, joining together cuisine and spirits infused with the flavors of Mexican heritage with the energy of the sun, to create a one-of-a-kind epicurean journey. Co-founded by Eva Longoria, Casa Del Sol’s distillery in the highlands of Jalisco has a shared Mexican heritage with Susurros, which permeates the atmosphere in this not-to-be-missed tasting room experience. To celebrate Mexico’s vibrant culture, traditions, and culinary wonders, visit the House of the Sun Tasting Room for a series of interactive culinary adventures that will invigorate, inspire, and create lasting memories of your stay.

  • Located in the private dining room at Casamilpa
  • Special experiences will be held each night from 5-6 PM by reservation. Cancellation requests are required 4 hours prior to your reservation.
  • Tasting Room will be open from 6-8 to visit without a reservation.

Casa Del Sol Sensory Journey & Tasting

Learn about the distillery process from seed to bottle, and how each sensory note is highlighted across the blanco, reposado, and añejo collections to form the ideal balance for your palate. Taste and smell each spirit as you partake in a trivia-inspired tasting, and enjoy an accompaniment of perfectly paired apapachos curated by Susurros’ Executive Chef Tonatiuh Cuevas. The lucky winner will take home a bottle of Casa Del Sol tequila.

Become a modern-day alchemist as you learn to make your own custom cocktails guided by our Mixologist Miguel Aquino. Discover the art of balancing complimentary flavors, and the element of surprise as you create your own cocktails incorporating local Mexican ingredients. Enjoy a light pairing menu that highlights the smooth and subtle flavors of Casa Del Sol's tequila collection.

Experience a modern twist on the iconic pairing as Executive Chef Tonatiuh Cuevas curates a trio of flavors on freshly made tacos to match each still of Casa Del Sol tequila. Learn firsthand how each flavor profile contrasts and compliments one another as you journey from blanco to añejo through creative and bright taco pairings and a boozy surprise dessert. Take in the warm Bahia de Banderas breeze as you enjoy the live music throughout this authentically Mexican culinary experience.
