We invite hotel guests and local visitors to revel in the tastes of classic Lombardi Siberian Sturgeon, Kimberly Farm Potato Chips with Roasted Onion Powder, Creme Fraiche, shallots and eggs, paired alongside Veuve Clicquot's premiere champagne, La Grande Dame.

A new gastronomic experience inspired by La Grande Dame
  • La Grande Dame by Veuve Clicquot brings the flavors of Grand Crus grapes to each bottle, with fruit sourced from a 100-year-old countryside vineyard in the heart of Verzy, France. Tended by Veuve Clicquot winegrowers, it offers a testing ground of exploration and innovation, with more than 300 permaculture varieties used in the creation of food and champagne pairings for a new era. The experience and flavors seamlessly find a home in the Connecticut countryside with a rotation of seasonal vegetables grown in the La Grande Dame Chef’s Garden, selected to pair masterfully with the champagne.

    As Madame Clicquot famously said, “Our black grapes give the finest white wines.” Over 200 years later, Veuve Clicquot’s enduring love of Pinot Noir finds its ultimate expression in La Grande Dame, a showcase of the Maison’s excellence composed principally of the historical Grands Crus of their terroir (+90%). Striking the perfect balance between strength and harmony, this cuvée is an oenological prowess, the result of our Cellar Master’s remarkable talent who strives to preserve its uniqueness.
