November 2023 Feature: Bouchaine
Originally planted in the 1880’s, Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros, a region located on the southern tip of Napa Valley. Bouchaine makes over 20 wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. We invite you to get off the beaten path, relax on our terrace overlooking the vineyard, and discover the beauty of Carneros.
December 2023 Feature: Aloft Wine
Truly a family project in the eyes of Marc Mondavi, third generation member of Napa winemaking royalty, Aloft focuses on connecting wine with nature, and the honest to goodness high quality of Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard site is located 1,660 feet above the valley within the Howell Mountain AVA, which is known quite famously for the extremely age-able wines that hail from there. The Mondavi legacy reigns on with Aloft wines.
January 2024 Feature: Tonella
S.R. Tonella Cellars was founded by Napa Valley native Steve Tonella and his wife Ariadna with a focus entirely on wines from Rutherford. Steve is fourth generation Napan – with his father, grandfather and great uncle all involved in the wine industry in some way – from growing grapes to making wine. S.R. Tonella crafts premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals that represent the best of Rutherford and Napa Valley.
