Stay at Primland Resort

Tree Houses

Perched in the treetops high above the Dan River Gorge, Primland’s 12,000 thickly wooded acres are home to intimate Tree Houses with sweeping views from Roaring Creek to Pilot Mountain, and down Kibler Valley. Designed in France by renowned treehouse architectural firm La Cabane Perchee – and built of aromatic red cedar – the 440-square-foot Tree Houses with expansive decks feel utterly remote, being at an elevation of 2,700 feet. Guests access the lofty accommodations, which suit up to two adults, by a wooden bridge. Inside, a neutral palette and oversized windows are meant to direct all attention outdoors. A signature Primland experience a short drive from the Lodge, staying in the Tree Houses offers all the freedom of a bird on the wing, and all the cosseting luxury of the most finely feathered nest.
