Born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, Langhorne spent time in kitchens there before moving to Charleston to stage under chef Sean Brock at McCrady’s, one of Charleston’s most iconic restaurants. The Dabney opened in 2015, serving modern American food with strong regional and historical influences. The restaurant has earned a Michelin star every year since the Guide’s D.C. debut in 2016, was named a James Beard Semifinalist for Outstanding Restaurant in 2025 and was named the #1 restaurant in the District by Washingtonian magazine in 2023.
