Carter is a jewelry designer, creative director and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. She is known for her delicate fine jewelry pieces and unique designs.Carter studied Design Management at Parsons School of Design; received her B.F.A. in Jewelry + Objects from Savannah College of Art and Design; and studied Jewelry + Metalsmithing in the graduate department at Rhode Island School of Design. She grew up in the Connecticut countryside, spending much of her time outdoors, collecting arrowheads, garnets and mica. Much of her fascination with these treasures from the earth is what sparked her passion for jewelry. Classically trained as a goldsmith and jewelry designer, Carter’s work reflects a meticulous attention to detail, an elevated design aesthetic, and a range of work from conceptual adornment to luxury fine jewelry.
