The Experience

Creative Director Wes Gordon and Artist Paul Arnhold share their artful and sophisticated guide to making the most of a getaway to the Punta de Mita’s relaxing shores. “Susurros del Corazón is truly a special place for families—it offers meaningful and authentic local experiences that bring everyone together and keep us coming back again and again.”

Day 1

“Many nights, we find ourselves wandering down to La Boquita for cocktails and tacos after putting the kids to bed. It’s the perfect place to relax and watch a beautiful sunset.”
  • Morning | Breakfast at Casamilpa

Start your day with breakfast at Casamilpa overlooking the ocean and the surfers on the morning break. Our kids especially love the basket of warm, homemade Mexican pastries served tableside

  • Morning | Morritos Kids Club

Let your little ones loose at the kids club where they are immersed in culturally-rich activities and programming. Morritos Kids’ Club is truly exceptional, run by an incredibly caring and attentive team who make the children feel so welcomed and loved.

  • Evening | La Boquita Sunset & Cocktails

Don’t miss the sunset at La Boquita with a round of beverages and bites. Order the Temezcal, a tropical white mezcal cocktail, an assortment of tacos – we love the ribeye or the lobster tacos.

Day 2

“A half-day trip to Sayulita is an absolute must. It’s a vibrant, authentic surf town about 30 minutes from the resort. We love spending a morning or afternoon there, strolling through the colorful markets.”
  • Morning | Shopping in Sayulita

Spend your morning perusing the beachfront art markets in Sayulita. From natural Mexican leather and Huichol art to hat-makers and jewelry designers, there’s always a treasure to take home from this authentic surf town.

  • Afternoon | Sunset Turtle Release

The sunset turtle release is an unforgettable experience for families. Release baby hatchlings and watch as they start on their epic life journey from the beaches of Susurros to the gentle waves of the Bahía de Banderas.

  • Evening | Dinner at Tuna Blanca in Punta Mita

Explore the nearby, quaint community of Punta Mita, just moments from the resort. Enjoy an evening out on the town and settle down at one of our favorite spots, Tuna Blanca, a sea-to-table dining experience with the best fresh catch.

Day 3

“The spa at Susurros is one of our favorite spas we’ve ever visited, and we’ve been to many. We always book the 90-minute Remedio Massage, which instantly melts away your stress.”
  • Morning | 90 min Remedio Treatment at ONDA

Find deep relaxation at ONDA, an Auberge Spa, where joy fuels wellbeing. Every treatment is built to ignite a sense of renewal, but the Remedio massage is a must. This therapeutic treatment is a full-body experience meant for deep-seated tension.

  • Afternoon | Make Your Own Chocobanana

Indulge in an afternoon delight after a morning of adventures with a chocobanana – frozen fresh bananas hand dipped in chocolate and rolled in your choice of toppings, from flaked coconut to cacao nibs.

  • Evening | Savor the Sunset Beach Dining

As the sun starts to set, make your way down to the beach and explore the nightly rotating tasting menus or visiting chef partner dining experiences. The assortment of global cuisine paired with an impeccable beachfront setting is nothing short of exquisite.
