Uplifting Local Youth

Bishop's Lodge + Santa Fe Youth Works

Bishop's Lodge has joined forces with YouthWorks, a long-established organization serving at-risk and disadvantaged youth in northern New Mexico by providing shelter, meals, counseling services, education, employment training and job placement. Each month, staff and guest donations are collected and distributed to the nonprofit organization. Team members also attend a monthly hands-on volunteer day to assist YouthWorks in their programming needs. Mentorship, job shadowing and job opportunities are available to participating youth, as well as on-property hiking and horseback riding on a monthly and quarterly basis. An annual community gala hosted by Bishop’s Lodge will be catered by the YouthWorks Food Truck, providing both hand-on experience and fundraising proceeds that directly benefit the organization. To purchase gala tickets, donate or volunteer, please visit the link below.

About Bishop's Lodge + YouthWorks

Bishop's Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection

We strive to create exceptional experiences that enrich the lives of our guests, team members and the community at large. Settled more than 150 years ago by Bishop Jean Baptiste Lamy, this iconic Santa Fe landmark has undergone a sensitive restoration to preserve its distinctive Southwestern heritage for the next generation. We explore our vibrant culture of discovery and expression through nature-driven adventures, visual arts, ancient healing arts, culinary journeys and memorable celebrations.

YouthWorks

YouthWorks has been leading the way in youth re-engagement since 2001. Approximately 1,200 young people of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds from across Northern New Mexico come through the doors of YouthWorks each year. YouthWorks prides itself on never giving up on the youth who seek our help. We pull out all the stops to help our young people succeed, offering job training, shelter, counseling services, mental health facilities and programs, job, meals and more.
