Adventure to Firebox Studios on Banana Lane for an authentic pottery class and picnic. The experience will begin with an introduction to their large studio and process, and guests will then be able to participate and watch as things are placed into the fire. Retreat to the waterfall for a picnic lunch and, when firing concludes, observe as the finished pieces are removed from the kiln. At the workshop's end, guests will leave with their own creations.

- Learn various techniques including low-firing Raku, Horsehair Raku, Saggar, and working with precious metals heated to high temperatures
- Raku is a low-firing process inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Chance and process are the key elements of the artful raku aesthetic as glazed ware is placed in a hot kiln for only about an hour and then removed and forced to cool rapidly.
