Sheep Shearing at The Farm

Inquire

The Experience

With a new season, our furry farm animals need to trim their coats. Join us for this interactive learning experience with fiber artist and sheep farmer, Jess Ludwicki. Learn why we need to shear sheep and what is typically done with wool after it is harvested, experiencing some hands-on examples to touch and feel. Learn about what makes wool so special, its uses and benefits, and how this renewable, biodegradable fiber benefits our farms. After the talk, all interested guests are invited to join us on the farm to watch our seasonal shearing.
