A beautiful 3 hour and 30-minute drive from Lake Mead lies Grand Canyon, one of the most iconic National Parks in the country. This vertiginous geological formation is awe-inspiring and offers many mediums for exploration: Hone your photography skills by capturing soul-stirring views at Yaki Point overlook, stretch your legs while taking in grand views on the Bright Angel hiking trail, learn about the park's fascinating ancient rock formations at Yavapai Museum of Geology or marvel at the canyon's vastness from a birds-eye view on a helicopter tour.
Day 4, 5
The journey continues on with a stunning 2 hour and 30-minute drive to Amangiri's new luxury tented camp, Camp Sarika. Express yourself through an art class hosted in an onsite cave embossed with ancient petroglyphs, push your limits with a Via Ferrata rock climbing excursion on a 180 million-year-old mesa, learn the concept of hozho, the Navajo tradition of being in harmony with oneself and with the world, recalibrate with a floatation therapy experience at the Aman Spa, or watch the rich colors of the desert change at sunset while sipping a prickly pear margarita.
