Spend Fall on the coast and partake in traditional Oktoberfest and Fall festivities from Thursday, October 5th to Monday, October 9th at our rustic luxury getaway.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5

  • 10 – 11AM | Lowering of the Pumpkin – Join us for our convivial White Barn Inn Fall tradition in the Barn to watch our 1,000 pound+, Maine-grown pumpkin get lowered into our display window by crane, signaling the start of Autumn on the coast.

  • 5:30 – 9PM | Oktoberfest Dinner – Commence the start of Fall with our Oktoberfest weekend celebration and join us for an indulgent, traditional Oktoberfest dinner including classic German dishes and beer, on Thursday, October 6th. Revel in the lively spirit of Oktoberfest while listening to our live TubaFrau Hofbräu band with friends and family.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6

  • 12:00 – 2PM | Autumn’s Bounty Lunch – Join us in Little Barn Restaurant for a seasonal feast featuring the bounty of local Maine farms. Celebrate the Fall season and taste the flavors of coastal Maine with New England classics from our expert culinary team and Executive Chef Mathew Woolf, all while reveling in the lively spirit of our Little Barn.

  • 2 – 5PM | Pressed Cider & Donuts – Gather around the bonfire and join us for mulled apple cider and donuts.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7

  • 12:00 – 2PM | Autumn’s Bounty Lunch – Join us in Little Barn Restaurant for a seasonal feast featuring the bounty of local Maine farms. Celebrate the Fall season and taste the flavors of coastal Maine with New England classics from our expert culinary team and Executive Chef Mathew Woolf, all while reveling in the lively spirit of our Little Barn.

  • 2 – 3PM | Pumpkin Carving Class with Moe – Join Kennebunk’s famed carver, Moe, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to create your own spooky pumpkin with loved ones.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8

  • 12:00 – 2PM | Autumn’s Bounty Lunch – Join us in Little Barn Restaurant for a seasonal feast featuring the bounty of local Maine farms. Celebrate the Fall season and taste the flavors of coastal Maine with New England classics from our expert culinary team and Executive Chef Mathew Woolf, all while reveling in the lively spirit of our Little Barn.

  • 12:30 – 1:30PM | At the Pastry Bench with Chef Mat – Join Chef Mat in Little Barn, where he will demonstrate two holliday pies- making the dough and filling in front of you and talk on the importance of chilling dough and blind baking. Taste the special seasonal pies and assist Chef Mat in the process. After class and pie tasting, you will be given ingredients and a recipe card to make your own pies at home.

  • 2 – 3PM | Barn Crafts with Kathy Oberman – Tap into Maine’s long tradition of craftsmanship and modern farmsteading through our private craft series with local lifestyle expert, Kathy Oberman. Try your hand at beeswax candle making, buoy painting, seasonal floral arranging and more with Kathy, a classically trained chef, food stylist, and former food tv producer for Martha Stewart. Leave the coast with a handmade gift or keepsake representative of your time in Maine.

  • 3 – 5PM | Fall Fete – Celebrate the end of White Barn’s Oktoberfest weekend with dishes from our expert culinary team, handcrafted autumnal cocktails and live music by the pool.
