Meet the Artists

Kate and Secily Anderson are the talent behind this Los Angeles-based married duo. With influences from Fleetwood Mac, Jade Bird and Brandi Carlile, this folk-pop band values craft, dynamics and vocal harmonies most. Kate’s lyrics are often musings of her life as an Army helicopter pilot.

Coming from a biracial home, Tyree was exposed to a very diverse array of music as a kid. He picked up a guitar when he was 12 years old and hasn’t put it down since. He served two tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. After being medically retired in 2014, he moved to the mountains of Northwest Colorado and started a SoulGrass band, Buffalo Commons.

A pianist, guitarist and classically trained vocalist, Stephen was interested in music from a young age. He served in the Army as a combat medic and was deployed on two combat tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His song “Her Cold Hands” received international attention for its accompanying multi-award-winning music video featuring SMUIN Contemporary Ballet dancers John Speed Orr and Terez Dean Orr. Aside from music, Stephen is a trained chef and illustrator and he is currently finishing his first book.
