Tucked high in the mountains of Pérez Zeledon in southern Costa Rica, this 864-acre property – the first Auberge Resort in Central America – brings glamour and luxury to an otherwise rugged terrain. Its 50 spacious casitas are decked out in dark wood and leather, and outfitted with sprawling terraces overlooking the mountains or San Ysidro Valley. There’s a ton to keep nature lovers happy, including horseback riding, swimming, and a visit to the on-site organic farm. But there’s plenty of fun to be had indoors as well.
