The Experience
Partake in an intimate, private shopping experience at local shop and studio Zürner Oceanic, exclusively for The Vanderbilt guests. With a glass of wine or bubbly in hand, select one of Zurner’s existing bags in their shop, then customize it using vintage sailcloth patches, zippers, pins, monograms and more. Jennie and John Zuerner will share stories about each piece, where it came from and what it would have been used for on the water. Jennie and John also invite guests of The Vanderbilt to shop before- or after-hours for an in-depth, private custom bag-making experience.
