The resort recently welcomed new General Manager Israel Benyair in addition to Executive Chef Lacey Lou Franklin. The hotel’s esteemed restaurant, The Mayflower Dining Room, features a newly appointed Executive Chef, Lacey Lou Franklin. Franklin brings award-winning expertise in menu concept and an innovative culinary approach to the hotel, drawing upon her experience at Michelin-starred restaurants. Working with New England’s incredible bounty, Franklin is ushering in a fresh take on seasonal New England-inspired Modern American dishes.


Surrounded by the beauty of the Connecticut countryside, the hotel’s award-winning 20,000-square-foot Spa has created a transportive sanctuary like no other. Guests can enjoy a deep connection with nature while indulging in treatments rooted in modern science and inspired by ancient wisdom including a Chakra-Balancing Treatment combining skilled massage techniques and aromatherapy oils, a Sound Healing Treatment utilizing Tibetan and Nepalese sound bowls and a bespoke White Jade Gemstone Facial.


This autumn, the idyllic resort invites guests to enjoy a slice of quintessential Americana with a true taste of the season and a pastoral journey. The day begins with a hearty picnic lunch on scenic farmland before apple-picking at a nearby orchard.
