Introducing Auberge Insiders

For celebrated chef Christopher Kostow, the perfect Napa Valley getaway starts close to home — at Solage, “a true amenity and luxury.” Nestled in the heart of Calistoga, it’s more than just a retreat — it’s an extension of his home, where everyday life feels like a vacation.

Day 1

“We love Chef Gustavo’s menu at PicoBar, but the elevated Head Tilt Series is a standout. We’re thrilled it’s returning this year.”
  • Morning | Stretch, Sweat, Solbar

Start your day strong with a workout at the fitness center or a complimentary fitness class, then refuel at Solbar. You can’t go wrong with the chilaquiles.

  • Afternoon | Trail to Table

Just minutes from Solage, the Oat Mill Mine Trail offers a scenic adventure perfect for all ages. After your hike, head to St. Helena for lunch at The Charter Oak.

  • Evening | Sunset Dinner

After splashing in the pool with the kids, refresh and head to Picobar for an alfresco dinner, where you can unwind and watch the sun dip behind the beautiful Mayacamas Mountains.

Day 2

“We love visiting the local Farmers’ Market, especially for Fi & Me Baking Co.’s incredible gluten-free pastries.”
  • Morning | Hit the Courts

Following some family-friendly competition on the pickleball courts, rent a complimentary Solage bike cruiser and pedal into town. Don’t miss Calistoga’s weekly Farmers’ Market.

  • Afternoon | Journey to Downtown Napa

Cruise down the scenic Silverado Trail in a Solage Mercedes-Benz towards the Oxbow Public Market for lunch at Loveski Deli. The Tuna Melt and Braised Brisket are must-tries.

  • Evening | Wine, Dine, & Unwind

After exploring the town, drive back towards Yountville for dinner at Ciccio Napa Valley  and enjoy simple salads, pizzas and pasta, with a glass (or two) of Altamura wine.

Day 3

"Solage is our luxury escape, an extension of our home in Calistoga — we feel like we're on vacation every day."
  • Morning | The Ultimate Wellness Experience

No trip to Solage is complete without a visit to the spa. Their Signature Hydrafacial cleanses, hydrates, and moisturizes the skin, providing instant results.

  • Early-Afternoon | Fashion, Flavor, & Local Charm

Discover downtown St. Helena’s shops and galleries, from Patina’s vintage jewelry to Elyse Walker’s fashion, then fuel up at Ray Ray’s Tacos, Model Bakery, or Sam’s General Store.

  • Mid-Afternoon | Poolside Perfection

Boasting stunning views of the Mayacamas Mountains, Solage’s iconic pool is always buzzing. Enhance your poolside experience with one of their private cabanas.

  • Evening | Fireside Fare

Savor your final evening in wine country with an unforgettable dining experience at Solbar. Nestle fireside beneath a canopy of twinkling mulberry trees, savoring a glass of Cabernet from a nearby winery.
