The WELL and Auberge Resorts Collection Launch Science-Backed Sleep Program

THE WELL brings its integrated approach to well-being into guest rooms across multiple Auberge Resorts Collection properties through Better Sleep program


New York, New York (June 11, 2022) — Leading wellness provider, THE WELL, and leading brand of one-of-a-kind luxury hotels, resorts and residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, are partnering to launch a dedicated science-backed sleep program at select Auberge properties. The program will commence on June 11th in celebration of Global Wellness Day.


Developed in collaboration with Dr. Frank Lipman — Chief Medical Officer at THE WELL and renowned functional medicine doctor — Better Sleep was designed by THE WELL exclusively for Auberge Resorts Collection to offer proven tips and tools that help restore and optimize sleep health for guests while traveling. With sleep being a critical part of individuals’ overall well-being, THE WELL and Auberge Resorts Collection seek to help combat numerous issues that the lack of adequate shut-eye can cause in areas of mood, cognition, skin health, energy levels, weight management and more.


In addition to Auberge Resorts Collection destinations where THE WELL has locations — including Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection in Costa Rica and Mayflower Inn & Spa, Auberge Resorts Collection in Washington, Connecticut — the program will be available at six additional Auberge Resorts Collections’ properties around the globe including The Lodge at Blue Sky, Auberge Resorts Collection (Park City, Utah), Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection (Los Cabos, Mexico), Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection (Los Cabos, Mexico), Etéreo, Auberge Resorts Collection (Riviera Maya, Mexico), Primland, Auberge Resorts Collection (Blue Ridge Mountains, VA) and The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Resorts Collection (Opening Fall 2022 in Los Olivos, California).

At each participating resort, guests will be able to tap into expert sleep tips to follow during their stay, which will include various yoga poses, breathing methods, journaling exercises, meditative rituals and more, all designed specifically for Auberge Resorts Collection. THE WELL has also exclusively created a guided sleep meditation for Auberge Resorts Collection, where mind coach and THE WELL practitioner, Manjit Devgun, will take guests into a peaceful state through a calming bedtime story and adult lullaby in the background of binaural beats, known for promoting REM sleep and relaxed anxiety.


A series of bedtime rituals, included in the booklet of tips, are each designed to be paired with an exclusive 1 oz. bottle of THE WELL Relax Everything Mist, which will be provided as an amenity for hotel guests as part of the program. Delivering therapeutic benefits including soothing stress, calming anxious minds and improving sleep, the Relax Everything Mist features an earthy scent infused with curated grounding, wildcrafted essential oils that range from buddha wood, lavender, sweet orange, vetiver, sweet marjoram and amyris. Whether guests are meditating, performing breathing exercises or unwinding with a warm bath, the Relax Everything Mist is an ideal tool for creating a tranquil environment that further induces relaxation for a deep night’s sleep.


With exposure to morning sunlight known to flush melatonin from the body, guests can additionally take advantage of the respective property’s surrounding nature and abundance of outdoor activities to help sync into their circadian system. Each Auberge Resorts Collection property offers robust wellness programming for hotel guests that aid in better sleep at night — from Rainforest Bathing and Botanical Yoga at THE WELL at Hacienda AltaGracia, to Meditation at THE WELL at Mayflower Inn.
