Deer Valley Resort | Ski-Only Resort

Deer Valley is currently scheduled to open its lifts on November 30, 2024. We strongly encourage guests who do not have a Deer Valley Season, Ikon or Ikon Base Pass to purchase lift tickets well in advance of their planned visit. Lift tickets should also be purchased in advance if you are making any Ski School or rental reservations.

Park City Mountain Resort

Park City Mountain Resort is scheduled to open its lifts on November 22, 2024. Skiers and boarders will receive the most favorable lift rates when purchased 7+ days in advance of their desired ski day. Lifts and gondolas will operate at normal capacity.

  • What to Bring | Pack your sunscreen, as Park City gets over 250 days of sunshine a year.

  • 2024-25 Ski Season Dates | Deer Valley Resort’s lifts are currently estimated to remain open through April 14, 2025, while Park City Mountain Resort plans to remain open through April 21, 2025.

  • Have The Slopes to Yourself | To cruise less crowded runs, ski Deer Valley during the Sundance Film Festival (the last week of January and into February) or during the month of April.

  • Must-do Runs | Don’t miss Deer Valley’s must-ski runs including Ontario to Homeward Bound, Success, Nabob, Jordanelle, Morning Star and the Mayflower Bowl.

First Tracks

Glide through untouched powder in Deer Valley's First Tracks program. On select dates throughout the 2024-25 season, Deer Valley and IKON season pass holders head straight to the chairlift to access the mountain at 8:30AM, giving them a half hour of skiing before the public opening.

Ski School

Earning a reputation as the “gold standard” of instruction, Deer Valley’s award-winning ski school provides customized lessons for adults and children to improve their technique and have more fun on the mountain. Many guests return to the same instructor season after season to keep honing their skills and reaching their goals.
