April 22 | Earth Day Art Walk and Mindful Movement

Before beginning this walk we start by setting an intention and purpose for this practice. Together we will then mindfully walk through the beautiful grounds of Auberge Du Soleil taking note of the outdoor sculpture gardens becoming grounded with the earth. Bringing attention to the breath as we bring the mind to a place of rest fully engaging in the environment and present moment. Wander through meandering manicured paths, as we stop and pause to participate in a few mindful movement exercises. Relax to the meditative sounds of the trickling stream that flows through the center of the garden while using all 5 senses to feel alive and connect back to our intention. We finish this practice by connecting our hearts to the earth and appreciating all it does for us.

Class Descriptions

  • Sculpt & Stretch

This class offers different stretching and low-impact toning exercises to improve strength, flexibility, mobility and breathing all in one.

  • Hatha Yoga

This class is directed toward understanding the “self”. The practice will blend strength and stretch, effort and ease, movement and stillness. Work towards attaining a true mind-body-spirit connection using a set of physical postures and breathing techniques.

  • Power Core

A vigorous class with demanding strength postures that will have you moving, breathing and sweating, this class focuses on engaging your core strength and building your endurance. Power Core strengthens and balances the body and mind.

  • Tai Chi

Join us for a Tai Chi practice that involves a series of slow, gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind and controlled breathing. You will create harmony through the mind, body and spirit that will cultivate your inner life energy to flow smoothly and powerfully through the body.

  • Yogalates

A beautiful combination of the gentle stretch of yoga with its asanas and mindfulness and the core-building strength and posture awareness of pilates. Yogalates is quite simply the perfect East-meets-West fitness class, which has the benefits of both yoga and pilates. You will leave feeling energized, calm and stretched in all the right places.

  • Vinyasa Yoga

Synchronize breath with movement. You will learn to link the conscious breath with a mindful flow to awaken your strength, energy and flexibility.

  • Power Yoga

Enjoy fast-paced, movement-focused on building strength and endurance. Considered a form of Vinyasa, Power Yoga puts a greater emphasis on the flow from one move to the next, rather than approaching each pose separately.
