Soaring cathedral ceilings lend an open feel to this spacious retreat. A wood-burning fireplace and stone hearth anchor the main living area which includes an intimate dining table for two and sitting area complete with queen sofa bed. Panoramic river views carry into the private bedroom featuring a second sitting area and large ensuite with infinity edge soaking tub and separate dual rainfall shower. We stayed two nights at the White Barn Inn and loved it! The Inn itself is a lovely, series of New England cottage-like buildings. We stayed in one of the stand alone cottages down the street- the Friendship cottage. The room was spacious, modern, and quiet. The working fireplace was perfect for the snow storm that greeted us.
