    Check in is available as soon as your room is ready, and if guests provide an ETA we will do our best to ensure the room is ready by then. Most of our guests typically check out around mid day.

    No, there is no late check out fee. If a guest would like to stay past 5pm, occupancy will be considered as to charge a rate or not.

    Standard reservation: A 1-night deposit inclusive of taxes is required at the time of booking. Any cancellations made within 7 days prior to arrival is subject to a 1-night penalty inclusive of taxes.
    Plan Ahead & Save 20%: Non Cancelable. A deposit for the full stay is required. This is a non-refundable booking with no changes or cancellations allowed.
  • Can I dine anywhere in the resort?
    Four options are available for onsite dining. Linnette’s our signature restaurant is open for breakfast (7am-10:30am), lunch (11am-2pm), and dinner (5pm-10pm). The Willet Room our lounge bar for drinks and bites is open from 11am-10pm from Sunday to Thursday and 11am-11pm Friday to Saturday. Poolside dining is available daily at The Cove from 11am-6pm. Dine from the comfort of your room with in-room dining available for breakfast from 7am-11am and an all-day menu available from 11am-10pm.

    Yes, there is a 24% service charge on all spa services

    The spa service charge is distributed 100% to, and divided among spa team members. Any additional gratuity provided is distributed 100% to your practitioner.

Transportation

  • Can the hotel pick me up?
    Our team is happy to assist in booking transportation for guests to and from local airports, to downtown Charleston and beyond. The Dunlin will also offer shuttle services around the immediate area.
  • How far is the hotel from the airport?
    Charleston International Airport is located 30 miles/45 minutes from The Dunlin. The Charleston Executive Airport is 16 minutes away from The Dunlin.
  • Does your resort offer a shuttle service?
    Yes, we offer a shuttle service around Kiawah River, to public beaches, and to select nearby areas like Freshfields Village and John’s Island.
  • What are the various costs for a limo/taxi/town car etc.?
    Ubers and Lyfts are not readily available in Kiawah River. We highly recommend using our transportation services or letting us assist with booking a car service.

Housekeeping and Laundry Services

    Laundry and dry cleaning services are available. In addition a Laundry Room is available for guest usage.
  • How do I get my clothes pressed?
    This can be coordinated with the guest services team on-site.

    Yes
  • How frequent is housekeeping?
    We offer housekeeping service between 9am-5pm and turndown service between 5pm – 9pm, daily throughout a stay.
  • Is there a cost for laundry?
    On-site self service laundry is available free of charge, as well as professional laundry and dry cleaning services that are priced per item.
  • Laundry pick up time and time to finish?
    If the hotel and dry cleaning company are notified by 8:30am, service will be same day and delivered back by 6:30pm. Otherwise, there will be a 24 hour turnaround Monday – Saturday. Sunday the company is closed and therefore there will be a longer turn around time if requested then.
