The Experience

The journey begins with a scenic drive through Panzano and Greve in Chianti, where guests can explore charming artisan shops, buy traditional wine or enjoy a traditional gelato stop. Upon arrival at Macelleria Cecchini, guests are welcomed into Dario’s world of butchery and hospitality, where food is a celebration of tradition and community.

Before lunch, a selection of snacks and wine sets the tone for an indulgent Tuscan feast, served at communal tables with a 6 course experience centered on beef crafted by Dario himself. To complete the experience, each guest receives a wrapped jar of Dario’s signature herb salt, a flavorful keepsake to bring home.

After lunch, a leisurely stroll through Chianti’s hilltop villages and a stop at Villamaggio, rumored to have inspired the Mona Lisa painting before returning to Florence.
