Drink Oysters, Jazz and Midnight Kitchen Tours

Most people who hear about White Barn Inn’s black tie New Years Eve celebration know of Tom Snow’s fabulous, live piano performances and the divine 7-course prix fixe gourmet dinner— but what most people don’t know about the party’s midnight tradition, is that it takes place with the chefs in the kitchen.

Every year my wife and I look forward to our travels to charming Kennebunk, and it is always this particularly touching moment that sticks with us when we return home. Just before ringing in the New Year, all of the event’s guests are invited to gather inside the kitchen to see where the magic happens in crafting the exquisite culinary creations we’ve all so enjoyed. Upon midnight, a grand toast takes place with the chefs and team that made the night so special. After we’ve cheered to the New Year, the celebration continues with Jazz and unlimited champagne to keep us dancing all into the wee hours of the New Year.Stories from White Barn Inn
