The Experience

Also known as the Nubble Lighthouse and Cape Neck among locals, the distinctive 41-foot structure sits atop a large rock island a few hundred feet off the shore in York, Maine. While the island and light station are off-limits to the public, there is a fantastic vantage point near the entrance to Sohier Park. Soak in the tableau, keeping your eyes peeled for the occasional harbor seal, then enjoy other park pursuits from fishing to scuba diving.
