Hundreds of harbor seals migrate down from the coasts of Maine and Canada to seek shelter in the warmer, protected waters of Narragansett Bay each winter. Embark on an educational boat tour offered through the nonprofit Save the Bay for taking in 360º views of these “dogs of the sea” resting on Citing Rock off of Rose Island and the Newport Bridge. One-hour tours are boat-only while two-hour tours also include a visit to Rose Island Lighthouse.
