The Vanderbilt was built in 1908 by Alfred Vanderbilt and donated to the YMCA for the benefit of the young men of the area. This commitment to the engagement, development, and entertainment of children and young adults is a legacy that we hope cary on, over a century later. Young Chef in Training
A cooking experience designed for young chefs in training. An interactive class taught by a member of our extraordinary culinary team and includes a tour of the Chef’s kitchen. Young chefs can pick from learning to bake cookies from scratch, making homemade pasta or the perfect grill cheese sandwich.
