ABOUT AGUA BY AGUA BENDITA
With a dream of creating a luxury resortwear line that bolsters artisanal handcrafted designs while remaining environmentally conscious, founders Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza built Agua by Agua Bendita with a goal of bringing Latin America’s biodiversity, culture, and history to the forefront. Each motif is handpainted and digitized, making them truly one of a kind. Hinestroza and Alvarez partnered with seamstresses from the outskirts of Medellín, their hometown, creating opportunities for them to look after their children and provide them with the care and education they need to thrive. With a focus on sustainability, all of their dresses are 100% linen and produced in an environmentally friendly way, while their swimsuits are made from recycled plastic bottles and their algae tags are compostable.
