Drink Wellness in Wine Country with ERDA Tea
Wellness seekers have another reason to visit the Auberge du Soleil Spa in Napa Valley. In addition to the spectacular views, zen-like atmosphere and exceptional services, spa guests may now enjoy a signature wellness tea as part of their spa experience. Developed by ERDA, Napa’s ultra-premium organic tea farm, the custom blend features lemon verbena and spearmint, selected for the cleansing and clarity-promoting properties of the herbs. The Auberge du Soleil + ERDA Spa Tea is served at the conclusion of all services to enhance the wellness benefits of each treatment while guests linger and relax within the natural beauty of the Spa Courtyard overlooking the verdant vineyards and Mount Veeder in the distance.
Founded by acclaimed Napa Valley viticulturist and vintner, Annie Favia-Erickson, ERDA’s tea garden is located on the property of Favia Wines in the neighboring bucolic Coombsville winegrowing region. The company adopts the same meticulous approach to tea farming as their hand-crafted winemaking – whole tea leaves and flowers are hand-picked then immediately stored in a temperature controlled drying room to preserve natural oils and freshness and deliver bright, clean flavors when brewed.
Raised on a farm in Connecticut, Favia-Erickson developed an interest in the restorative nature of tea at an early age when herbal tea soaks helped to soothe her feet from injuries and pain incurred as a dancer with the Connecticut Ballet. These homeopathic remedies marked the beginning of Annie’s journey into the magical healing powers of tea.
“The culture of tea is so restorative, which makes it the ideal complement to any spa service,” said Favia-Erickson. “The Auberge du Soleil + ERDA Spa Blend offers a custom multi-sensory experience that I know spa guests will truly enjoy as part of a mindful ritual served in one of the most tranquil and picturesque settings in wine country.”
