Welcome the Vernal (Spring) Equinox with balanced energy. Say hello to longer, sunnier days with a breathing practice designed to warm the body, strengthen respiratory function, release stress and boost the immune system. Jaleel Mackey, co-founder of Breathe, Rise, & Thrive combines a carefully curated playlist with live spoken word poetry to guide you through a breathwork experience that will leave you feeling calm and balanced, mentally and physically.

The Experience

Start the day by activating the body with your choice of movement from a selection of fitness and yoga classes or state of the art gym equipment, followed by post-workout recovery in the Springhouse Recovery Circuit. Designed to activate the body’s natural healing processes, our Springhouse Circuit uses heat, cold, steam and micro salts to optimize physical performance and improve health. Enjoy a plant forward, seasonally prepared community lunch, and experience breathwork powerful breathwork with Jaleel Mackey, co-founder of Breathe, Rise, & Thrive.

The Schedule

  • 9:00 a.m. | Check in and welcome 

  • 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Morning movement and Springhouse Recovery Circuit (includes self guided use of steam room, cedar sauna, salt therapy, and tepidarium)

  • 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Community lunch and leisure time

  • 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Vernal Breathwork for Balanced Spring Energy

  • (Optional) 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Spa treatments as available (cost of spa treatment a la carte, not included in price of the day – call 707-699-6260 to book)

The Instructor: Jaleel Mackey

Jaleel is a writer, mindfulness teacher, breathworker and entrepreneur. He is passionate about community and optimizing mental and emotional wellbeing within himself and those he serves. He has dedicated the last thirteen years of his life to exploring, learning, integrating and teaching a variety of practices including Insight Meditation, yoga and trauma recovery to name a few. Jaleel is the co-founder of Breathe, Rise + Thrive (BRT): a global community using breath, movement, music and flow science for peak performance through holistic well-being.
