This April, gather the family for a well-deserved week of relaxation at Stanly Ranch. Our Spring Break celebration caters to curious minds and adventure lovers of all ages with an engaging, dynamic host of activities that celebrate the season. The bounty of our homefront in Napa Valley is bursting with life in the form of farm-fresh agriculture, fragrant blooms and unique experiences the whole family will love.

Spring Break Itinerary

April 3-16, 2023

Monday, April 3rd/10th

  • 10:00 AM | Little Ranchers Hawk Walk – Take a walk with local falconry expert Rebecca Rosen and her feathered friends and watch as they fly over Stanly Ranch. Maximum 15 guests. Dogs are not invited to participate.

  • 11:00 AM | Bike Alongside the Napa River – Bike through the Riverfront Promenade and the Oxbow Commons Park in Downtown Napa.

  • 12:00 PM | Lunch at Oxbow Public Market – Experience Napa’s local gathering place. Enjoy a variety of food vendors that range from pizza and classic American burgers to authentic Mexican food and sushi.

Tuesday, April 4th/11th

  • ALL DAY | Little Rancher’s Wildflower Walk – Enjoy a self-guided walk through the property among the budding wildflowers of Stanly Ranch. Stop by Gavel for some tea or homemade hot cocoa, then continue your search for new, colorful blossoms.

  • 9:00 AM | Track Mountain Lions – Embark on an adventure in search of Northern California’s Mountain Lions alongside wildlife conservationist Dr. Quinton Martins & educator Liz Martins.

  • 4:00 PM | Little Ranchers Family Dance Fitness – Get active and have fun as you learn short dance routines in this family friendly activity. Recommended for ages 4 years and older.

Wednesday, April 5th/12th

  • 5:00 PM | Vinedresser Walk – Feed your curiosity as you venture through our onsite vineyards with our viticulturist, learning about Stanly’s rich history and the Carneros AVA. Recommended for ages 6 years and older.

  • 7:30 PM | Sweet Treats at Sunset – Prepare a sweet treat as the sun sets beyond Stanly’s age old eucalyptus trees in the distance. Enjoy this experience at our communal fire pits or save it for later on your private patio.

Thursday, April 6th/13th

  • ALL DAY | Visit Old Faithful – Marvel at the faithful eruptions every 15 to 30 minutes when the geyser blows off steam for a dramatic show of nature. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the grounds, visit the petting zoo – home to llamas, horned sheep, and mountain goats – and learn all about how geysers work in the Geology Museum, free with admission.

  • 10:00 AM | Little Ranchers Hawk Walk – Take a walk with local falconry expert Rebecca Rosen and her feathered friends and watch as they fly over Stanly Ranch. Maximum 15 guests. Dogs are not invited to participate.

  • 4:00 PM | Little Ranchers Family Yoga – End the day in gratitude with a family friendly yoga session in our Movement Studio at Halehouse. Recommended for ages 4 years and older.

Friday, April 7th/14th

  • ALL DAY | Little Rancher’s Wildflower Walk – Enjoy a self-guided walk through the property among the budding wildflowers of Stanly Ranch. Stop by Gavel for some tea or homemade hot cocoa, then continue your search for new, colorful blossoms.

  • 11:00 AM | Little Ranchers Family Farm Tour – Tour the The Grange, our culinary garden, with Farmer Nick Runkle to learn the ins and outs of everything that’s growing. Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum 10 guests.

  • 3:00 PM | Pasta Making – Discover the age old art of pasta making with this hands-on experience led by Farmer Nick and Chef Garrison in The Grange. Collect herbs and flowers from the garden, prepare and roll out your own dough, then watch all of the ingredients come together in the pan.

Saturday, April 8th/15th

  • 9:30 AM | Family 3K Run – Kick off your Saturday morning with a three-kilometer guided run around the Ranch, then end at Halehouse and take in the beautiful views as you enjoy fresh smoothie shots. Recommended for ages 4 years and older.

  • 12:00 PM | Private Falconry – Experience hands-on falconry techniques with Rebecca Rosen, Napa Valley’s falcon-whisperer, and her school of birds. Booking is a la carte and based upon availability. Dogs are not invited to participate.

  • 1:00 PM | Lunch at The Window – Enjoy a more casual approach to dining on the Ranch with our weekly specials curated by Executive Chef Garrison Price, each available with a new and unique theme.

Sunday, April 9th/16th

  • MORNING | Visit Charlie’s AcresExperience the peaceful and nurturing environment of a local sanctuary where guests can meet and learn about the Acres’ inhabitants. Bring your boots in preparation for an exploration.

  • ALL DAY | Family CabanaCelebrate Spring Break with one final day at the pool. Enjoy time with family in one of our private cabanas, sipping on fresh lemonade, snacking on light bites from Basin Bar and playing lawn games.
