The Experience

More than 60 species of birds have been observed in the wetlands that surround Stanly Ranch. Walk along the Bay Trail and throughout the property to catch a glimpse of these feathered friends. Our guide will provide insight on the various flora, fauna and local bird species. From the American Wigeon to the Bufflehead and the White Egret, these water dwelling species will certainly catch your eye. But, be sure to look overhead for the Red-winged blackbird with a distinctive song or the active and acrobatic American Goldfinch. When you return to the Ranch House, learn more about birds of prey as you visit with our owl.
