Drink I Wrote My Best-Seller Over Drinks at Solbar
I always give Solbar a little credit for helping me write my best-selling book. I spent many a night sitting at the bar in Solbar working, and edited most of my book over the bar’s delicious drinks— sometimes it’d be French champagne and sometimes a glass of pinot. More often than not, however, I’d choose the drink that changed my life: a cocktail made with grapefruit vodka, grapefruit bitters, and fresh grapefruit juice. It is undoubtedly the best cocktail in the world. Other than Solbar, my favorite “office space” is a cabana by Solage’s pool, especially on cold, misty days. This might surprise you, but there is truly nothing more magical than Solage during the winter. I have the best memories of cozying up inside the cabana, warmed by heaters, and working to the soothing sound of rain.
