Robert Walshaw

Robert brings a rich and varied design background with 20 years of experience in hospitality design and creative direction. As Vice President of Design, he collaboratively works with owners, designers, property teams and other stakeholders to bring the Auberge vision of individually crafted, one-of-a-kind properties to life. A start in film and television set design led Robert to a long-time position at the studios of Yabu Pushelberg in Toronto and New York. More recently, as VP Design and Architecture at Ian Schrager Company, Robert oversaw the design and development of many iconic properties; including London, Miami and West Hollywood EDITION Hotels. Robert holds a Interior Design Degree from Toronto Metropolitan University.
