The still, clear waters of Meads Bay, approximately 100 meters down from the end of our beach, is especially great for snorkeling novices, and lined with ridges of coral shelves. Get your bearings, then set sail on a catamaran to some of the island’s prime snorkeling spots. At Prickly Pear Cays, you might find (mostly harmless) nurse sharks swimming among sunken shipwrecks, while at Crocus Bay, you’ll explore beautiful reef formations covered with vivid corals and abundant marine life including the occasional giant manta ray. (A) On Anguilla’s north shore, you’ll find 20 dive sites, ranging from beginner’s reefs to advanced wall dives.
