Arrive mid-day and settle into your charming alpine oasis. Upon arrival through the grand Goldener red door, a Wild Mountain Thyme is presented to you: an herbal refreshment made with herbs from our backyard garden: thyme, mint and such.

As you arrive in your room, you’re delighted with a small jar of Austrian-inspired cookies and a scavenger hunt – an invitation for our families to intimately know the nostalgic charm of Goldener Hirsch.

Once settled, stretch your legs and expand your horizons with a gentle mountain hike and picnic. Your backpack snacks will be ready for pickup in the Kitz Cafe. Make way to the gondola with your guide and take in the views from a higher vantage point.

Executive Chef Nicolas Lebas prepares a spread of locally inspired menu items. Your waiter subtly hints at the evening’s ritual Golden Movie Gathering – movie night at sundown in the terrace.

We've created our own theater in the terrace. Grab a bean bag chair, snacks and take in the scene. The summer’s theme is travel movies and the lineup begins with The Adventures of Tin Tin.

Linger a bit in bed before heading down to Kitz Cafe for a seasonal scone with foraged flowers, paired with a summer matcha-chai infusion.

Stop by The Restaurant to pick up nature journals; then, the little ones head to Alpenwild for a Sage & Pine session to learn about the surrounding flora and to make native plant sachets. (Alpenwild is available weekly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday only.)
