Crushing on Napa

Oct 10, 2014

The long-awaited “Crush Season” is upon us in Napa! Crush Season (or Harvest Season) is a celebration of Fall that starts in early September and goes through late October – making it one of the most popular times to visit Napa.  And with all the activity that takes place during this time (from grape crushing to food tastings to festivals galore), it’s hard not to develop a “crush” on Napa!

Calistoga Ranch pulls out all the stops for Napa’s harvest – think a “Harvest Ritual” spa treatment and the chance to harvest your own grapes in the resort’s very own Sotero Vineyard.

On October 3, Calistoga Ranch invited its guests and members to a Harvest breakfast celebration which all started with a breakfast in the vineyard, followed by a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join their winemaker to help harvest their very own cabernet grapes.  Here are some snapshots from the morning festivities….already dreaming of next year’s Calistoga Ranch harvest? We are!
