The Experience

Honor Los Cabos’ past while fully reveling in its present with a Pericú-Nic, Chileno’s take on a traditional picnic. Listen to the lapping waves and feel the warm sun on your skin as you enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inspired by the Pericúes, a hunting and gathering tribe believed to be the region’s very first human inhabitants as far back as 30,000 years ago.

Pericu-nic experience on the beach

Feel the spirit of the Pericúes in an outdoor area of your choosing, whether it’s a secluded spot on Chileno’s white-sand Resort Beach steps from the calm waters, to Mirador Point for panoramic views of Chileno Bay or at the H2O Cave after an adventurous day exploring the coral reef.
Pericu-nic experience on the beach

Sit back and relax on soft seat cushions as you sample a curated menu that nods both to local purveyors and the Pericúes, who lived primarily off the abundant waters of the Gulf of California, diving for fish and shellfish from wooden rafts. Taste through cheeses made by a fourth-generation cheese maker in the Valle de Guadalupe, then dine on a lobster tostada with chipotle dressing and charred onions, or a soft potato roll stuffed with marinated yellowfin tuna. For a sweet ending to your Pericú-Nic, try mini gorditas de nata with local organic honey butter or chocolate with roasted agave bars.
