Bishop’s Lodge and SkyFire are thrilled to be participating in the 31st Annual Wine and Chile Fiesta in September. What started as a single event in a mall parking lot, is now a five-day culinary extravaganza celebrating the best Santa Fe has to offer. Santa Fe Wine & Chile Fiesta carefully curates programming featuring the Santa Fe restaurant community, wineries from around the world and top local and national experts in the sommelier and wine education realm. The talented team at SkyFire, led by executive Chef Pablo Peñalosa will be partnering with renowned wineries and other culinary talent to host several special experiences. Bishop’s Lodge looks forward to welcoming food and wine enthusiasts to our lineup of events.

Tuesday, September 20, 6:30pm | Wine Dinner with Vara Wines at SkyFire
Join us for a celebration of the deep connection between the viticultural histories of New Mexico and Spain with Vara Winery. Chef Pablo Peñalosa presents a thoughtfully crafted four course tasting menu embracing the Spanish varietals that have found a new home in the New Mexico agricultural landscape.

Thursday, September 22, 6:30pm | Winemaker Dinner with Daou Vineyards at SkyFire
The terroir of Daou Mountain in Paso Robles is said to rival that of the right bank of Bordeaux. Brothers Georges and Daniel have dedicated their craft to creating the ideal Cabernet to compare to those ancient French houses of note. Join us to experience Chef Pablo's curated tasting menu paired with the best Daou Mountain has to offer.

Saturday, September 24 | The Santa Fe Wine and Chile Fiesta Grand Tasting
Returning to downtown Santa Fe this year, the Wine & Chile Festival’s signature event, The Grand Tasting will take place once again on the beautiful grassy lawn at Magers Field. During this walk-around event, enjoy over 90 world-class wineries and featured tastes from more than 50 of Santa Fe’s finest restaurants featuring our very own SkyFire and Chef Pablo. Spend a glorious fall afternoon in the heart of Santa Fe enjoying the best of what The City Different has to offer.

Sunday, September 25, 11am | Rosé All Day
If a Sunday in Santa Fe Sounds like a Rosé kind of day, join us on the event lawn for this signature Wine & Chile Fiesta event.! Enjoy bites from Chef Pablo Peñalosa of SkyFire and other featured chefs including Charleen Badman of FnB in Scottsdale and Jefferey Kaplan of Rowley Farmhouse Ales. These small plates will be seen through rosé-colored glasses… along with an around the world selection of rosé wines.
