THE SPA POLICIES & CULTURE
  • A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid full service charges
  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your spa appointment time
  • Please be advised that late arrivals will result in the reduction of treatment time
  • For your convenience, a 20% gratuity charge will be added to all service as is customary for spa services
  • Prices indicated are subject to change without prior notice
HEALTH CONDITIONS

When making your spa reservations, kindly advise us of any health conditions, allergies or injuries that could affect your service.  Please inform your therapist of any health concerns, treatments or allergies prior to your service.

MINORS POLICY

Youth 12 years and older are welcome to experience facial rituals, salon & nail services, with a parent or guardian’s approval. Children under 12 are not permitted on the second-floor spa area, including changing rooms and relaxation area. The spa relaxation area is provided for spa guests only.

Youth age 15 and older may schedule certain massage service. Parent or legal Guardian must be present at all times during massage. Please inquire with our spa service team.

WHAT IF I HAVE SPECIAL HEALTH CONDITIONS?

Please notify a spa professional or concierge before scheduling your appointment and they will suggest a plan that’s right for your condition for your safety and comfort.

MAY I REQUEST A MALE OR FEMALE THERAPIST?

Yes. We are pleased to honor your request.  Please notify us of your preference at the time of booking your appointment. All of our therapists are trained to respect and protect your privacy at all times.

WHAT DO I WEAR DURING MY TREATMENT?

Wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Your privacy is protected with sheet and blankets for warmth and comfort.

WHAT ABOUT MY JEWELRY AND VALUABLES?

Please leave all valuables at home.  The spa at Auberge Beach is not responsible for lost or forgotten valuables.  Please do not place valuable in your spa robes as they are often forgotten.

WHAT IF I’M LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Arriving late may limit the time for your treatment. We will do the best to accommodate you in the time that is left for your schedule appointment and  in respect of the next guest scheduled after your treatment time.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I CHECK IN FOR MY SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT?

For hair salon services, we recommend check-in at least 5 minutes prior to your service. For Spa treatments, check in with out Spa Concierge at least 30 minutes prior to your appointment. Although we recommend a one-hour Self-Guided Vitality Ritual prior to your treatment.  This will allow you enough time to register, tour of the spa, receive your locker assignment, change into your robe and relax for a few minutes before your spa treatment begins.

WHAT PRECAUTIONS DO I NEED TO KNOW?

Notify us if you are pregnant, taking any medication, using retinols or similar, as well as any recent filer, injectables or laser treatments or have had a recent illness or injury.

Do not shave your legs prior to a body scrub treatment. Severe sunburn may prevent you from enjoying a spa treatment.

ARE GRATUITIES INCLUDED?

Gratuities are not included in the spa service pricing. For your convenience a 20% gratuity charge will be added to all spa services.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment or a 50% charge will be applied.
